Your records indicate you were diagnosed with type 2 diabetes during the Covid pandemic.

During this time and in the months following, some NHS services were halted, and you may not have been able to access the usual education given around type 2 diabetes at diagnosis. This support can enable you to better manage your diabetes OR sometimes put it into remission altogether.

We have been given a small amount of funding locally to enable us to now provide this valuable support and information.

We would like to invite you to one of our education sessions called Stamp Out Diabetes provided by our Diabetes Specialist Nurses. These are held in a local venue and will give you the tools and support you need, to successfully manage your diabetes and reduce your risks of the common complications.

The sessions will be held as follow:

1^st Wednesday every month = The Venue in Stanley 9:30 till 11:30am

2nd Tuesday of the month = St Patrick’s Hall Consett 9:30 till 11:30am

3^rd Wednesday of the month = The Venue in Stanley 6:00 till 8:00pm

4^th Tuesday of the month = St Patrick’s Hall Consett 6:00 till 8:00pm
